Find Services in Your County
OACRA directories are expanding from state-level coverage to county- and ZIP-code visibility to help individuals, families, providers, and community partners locate local support services more easily. Because many support services operate by county, city, region, or statewide service area, OACRA is building a more localized service map across the country with the help of providers, public agencies, and community corrections and reentry partners.
Did you know?
Many support services related to probation, reentry, treatment, housing, employment, and community service are organized or accessed through local areas such as counties, cities, or regional service zones. That makes county-based discovery especially important when users are trying to find help close to home.
Travel and movement requirements during probation can vary by jurisdiction and by individual court order. In many situations, movement between nearby counties for approved purposes such as work or scheduled obligations may require prior approval from a supervising officer, while out-of-state travel may require more formal authorization. International travel may require court approval. Individuals should always follow their own court orders and supervision instructions.
How services may be listed
OACRA directories may display providers by county, city, metro area, regional service area, statewide coverage, or online availability depending on how organizations report their reach.
Why county visibility matters
County-level coverage helps users search more locally, helps providers be discovered in the right service areas, and helps agencies recommend resources with greater geographic clarity.
Coverage note
OACRA users often search for services by county, city, region, or state. This county-based framework supports stronger local discovery, stronger service-area signals, and clearer opportunities for providers, agencies, and public-sector partners to improve local resource visibility.
Help expand local coverage in your county
If users do not yet find the services they need within a given county, OACRA can continue improving local visibility with help from service providers, community corrections offices, reentry organizations, local governments, and trusted partners. Agencies may submit recommended programs serving their county, city, region, or state for review and possible inclusion.
