OACRA Provider Resources

Basic, Highlighted/Priority and Sponsored Reentry Listings

OACRA offers Basic, Highlighted/Priority, and Sponsored annual listing options. All three are reviewed and renewed annually. The difference is how much information, visibility, and direct pathway support the organization receives within applicable directories.

By OACRA Listing options Provider participation
All listing options are annual. Basic, Highlighted/Priority, and Sponsored listings are reviewed and renewed each year. The primary difference is how prominently and extensively the organization is presented within applicable OACRA directories.

Organizations do not all need the same type of directory presence. Some need a clear, current Basic listing. Others want a more prominent Highlighted/Priority presentation. Sponsored listings are intended for organizations that want a stronger pathway from discovery to direct intake, referral, application, or hiring action.

Choosing a listing option should depend on the organization’s information needs, service scope, desired visibility, and whether it wants OACRA users to move through a clearer direct-contact pathway. No listing level guarantees referrals, applicants, placements, or hiring.

Understanding the annual listing options

Basic annual listing

Clear standard presentation

A Basic listing provides a structured public directory presence with current service, location, contact, and intake information.

  • Annual listing review and renewal
  • Organization and service-category information
  • Current public contact and intake details
  • State or regional directory placement
Highlighted/Priority annual listing

More prominent presentation

A Highlighted/Priority listing includes annual review and renewal plus a more prominent, visually distinct, and expanded presentation within applicable directories.

  • Annual listing review and renewal
  • More prominent directory presentation
  • Dedicated provider URL
  • Expanded organization and program information
  • Additional listing features when available

When a Basic annual listing may be the right fit

A Basic annual listing may be appropriate when the organization needs a clear, current, and professionally structured public directory presence without additional visual prominence.

  • The provider wants accurate service and contact information displayed publicly
  • The organization needs state or regional directory placement
  • The provider wants its listing reviewed and renewed annually
  • A standard presentation adequately communicates the service

Annual review applies to every listing

Basic, Highlighted/Priority, and Sponsored listings are reviewed and renewed annually. The annual process allows providers to confirm ownership, review public information, submit updates, and maintain current contact, intake, service-area, and program details.

Annual review is not a separate listing category. It is the renewal and information-maintenance process used for every active listing option.

When a Highlighted/Priority annual listing may be useful

A Highlighted/Priority annual listing may be appropriate for organizations that want a more visible, detailed, or visually distinct presentation within an applicable directory, together with a dedicated provider URL.

  • The organization serves a broad geographic area
  • The provider offers several clearly defined services
  • Referral partners need more detailed intake or program information
  • The organization wants its listing to stand out visually within the directory
  • The provider wants a stronger public-facing presentation without creating a separate directory

Highlighted/Priority presentation increases visibility within OACRA. It does not guarantee search-engine ranking, referral volume, placement, eligibility, or acceptance.

How to choose the appropriate option

Choose a Basic annual listing when

A clear standard presentation is sufficient and the organization mainly needs current public service, contact, location, and intake information.

Choose a Highlighted/Priority annual listing when

The organization wants a more prominent presentation, expanded program information, stronger visual distinction, and a dedicated provider URL.

Choose a Sponsored annual listing when

The organization wants a dedicated URL plus sponsor recognition, expanded branding, and a clearer route from OACRA discovery to direct intake, referral, application, or hiring action.

Renew and review annually

Every listing level requires annual review and renewal to maintain current organizational information and the selected presentation level.

The difference between Highlighted/Priority and Sponsored listings

A highlighted card cannot replace clear information. Both Highlighted/Priority and Sponsored listings receive dedicated URLs. Highlighted/Priority focuses on stronger presentation and expanded provider information. Sponsored adds explicit sponsor recognition and a more developed referral, intake, application, or hiring pathway when available.

What a Sponsored listing does—and does not—do

Sponsored placement can improve visibility, clarity, and direct access to an organization’s approved next step. It can help referral professionals and potential applicants understand how to contact the provider or employer.

It does not guarantee referral volume, applications, interviews, hiring, program admission, placement, eligibility, court acceptance, government approval, or outcomes. Sponsored organizations remain responsible for their own intake, screening, eligibility, admissions, employment, and follow-up decisions.

Important: Listing level affects OACRA presentation and visibility. Annual review and renewal apply to Basic, Highlighted/Priority, and Sponsored listings. It does not establish legal eligibility, program acceptance, court approval, government endorsement, accreditation, guaranteed referrals, or guaranteed outcomes.

Choose or update your listing option

Submit your organization’s current information and indicate whether you are requesting a Basic, Highlighted/Priority, or Sponsored annual listing. Highlighted/Priority and Sponsored requests both include dedicated URLs. Sponsored requests can also include the intake, referral, application, hiring, or workforce-partner pathway the organization wants OACRA users to follow. OACRA will review the request for category fit, geographic placement, clarity, and applicable listing options.

Listing features may vary by directory, service category, and current OACRA offering. Submission does not guarantee placement, sponsored or highlighted availability, referrals, applications, interviews, hiring, admission, endorsement, or approval.
