Explore reentry and community-supervision resources by need
Every jurisdiction offers five directory routes. Available listings vary by location and service type; a directory may not currently contain a verified provider for every county. OACRA provides discovery information, not eligibility or court-approval determinations.
Housing
Locate publicly listed transitional, supportive, recovery, and other housing resources. Confirm availability, costs, residency criteria, and supervision restrictions directly.
Employment
Explore workforce programs, job preparation, second-chance employment resources, and training. Programs and age eligibility vary by provider.
Treatment
Find behavioral-health, substance-use, mental-health, and recovery support resources. Contact providers for clinical services and admission criteria.
Community Service
Discover potential volunteer organizations and service opportunities. Confirm acceptance with the organization and any relevant court or supervising authority.
Financial Help
Explore assistance information for food, utilities, housing costs, employment support, and other needs. Funding and eligibility depend on the program.
How to use Find Services
Quick answers about search, access, listings and community-service requirements.
Who is Find Services for?
Find Services is for people with a record looking for practical support, including people navigating reentry, probation, parole, community supervision, or other record-related barriers. Families and referral professionals can use the directories too.
Is Find Services free to use?
Yes. Public directory access does not require payment, an account, or sign-in. Users contact listed providers and organizations directly.
How do I search?
Enter a state plus a service need, such as Florida housing, Texas jobs, Maryland treatment, Ohio community service, or California financial help. A state-only search shows all five service areas.
Why does OACRA use jurisdiction and county information instead of ZIP-code-only searches?
OACRA organizes resource discovery by jurisdiction and provider service area, rather than ZIP-code proximity alone. Start with a state and service need, then use county filters where available in the relevant directory. Some providers serve multiple counties or an entire state. A ZIP code alone does not establish provider coverage, program eligibility, or court or supervision acceptance. Confirm requirements directly with the provider and relevant authority.
What can I find?
OACRA organizes public directories around housing, employment, treatment, community service, and financial help across all 50 states and Washington, DC.
Does OACRA approve or guarantee providers?
No. OACRA is an independent information and discovery platform. A listing does not guarantee eligibility, acceptance, service quality, court approval, supervision approval, or outcomes.
Can I use OACRA for court-ordered community service?
OACRA can help you discover potential community-service organizations. Confirm acceptance requirements directly with the organization and, when applicable, with the court or supervision authority before completing hours.
How are the 255 directories organized?
OACRA provides five service directories for each of the 50 states and Washington, DC: housing, employment, treatment, community service, and financial help. Open Browse by state, choose a jurisdiction, and select the service area. Directory records and county-level filters vary by state.
What if I cannot find a provider in my county?
Some counties may have no currently indexed local providers. This does not establish that no service exists. Review each directory’s listed service areas and contact potential providers directly to confirm whether they serve your location.
Expand access with OACRA.
OACRA invites organizational, institutional and commercial partnerships that expand access to practical resources. Partners can support service discovery through regional or state initiatives, sponsored visibility, integrations and other collaborative models.
